Distortions

When the tongue comes between the teeth when talking, swallowing or at rest.

Eating with the mouth open and/or loud chewing. Someone who gulps or pouches liquids In their cheeks when drinking.

Someone who always breathes through the mouth or has difficulty breathing through the nose.

Habits

Thumb/finger sucking, prolonged pacifier use (pass age of 1.5yo), biting cheeks, lips, objects or fingers, tongue sucking, clenching or grinding teeth.

An overbite, underbite, grinding or clenching jaw and/or other dental problems.
